Customer
The Customer is an education organization with over 40 years of experience in supporting families across Ontario. Their clients are mostly families facing challenges in parental education, domestic abuse/violence, finance, other domains.
Challenge
The Customer needed to assess its IT infrastructure including the security level, tools to support its core business to go online to help more families across the province of Ontario. It was mandatory that this online system keeps its highest security and makes sure that the sensitive information of clients being protected.
Solution
PPG’s engineers performed the IT assessment of the existing IT infrastructure including all the hardware, network, online presence. The team then had thorough discussion with the c-level and front-line workers regarding their experience of the existing system. Through these discussions, the team learned the core business model of the client. A proposal has been carefully prepared. The outline of the scope of the project, timeline, and budget have been set. The focus has been given to a smooth and friendly end user online experience, highest internet security and adequate back-end administration such as students registration, payment processing, class and course management, and a fairly easy and simple course authorization process. As always, PPG’s team was able to deliver the project meeting all contract requirements.
